Welcome to the webpage for the Kindergarten Program 2009-2010 academic year. Below you will find important information regarding registration, enrollment, and other policies and procedures. Any additional questions concerning the kindergarten program can be directed to the Director in person at Starlite School. The program will be 12 months in length and is intended to prepare students for entering the first grade in the following academic year.

Enrollment begins February 1, 2009

Dates and Hours of Kindergarten Program Session:
Kindergarten Session: September 1, 2009 - August 31, 2010
Hours of operation: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Age Requirement:
Students wishing to enroll in the kindergarten program should be at least 5 years of age by December 1, 2009.

Application Material:
New students will need to complete an entire application package.
Returning students who already have a completed application package on file will not be required to re-submit an entire enrollment package. However, returning students must return the Admissions Agreement (for kindergarten program) to update their file.
Application forms are available online (Online Application) or can be requested in person from Starlite School.

Registration:
To enroll in the kindergarten program a non-refundable registration fee will be collected together with the application.

Continuing Students - Registration before March 31, 2009 => $50
                           Registration after March 31, 2009 => $75

New Students - Registration => $75

Tuition:
Tuition includes breakfast, lunch, and snack. In addition to tuition, students will be responsible for costs related to textbooks, reading materials, field trips, and other special activities.

Curriculum:
The primary goal of the kindergarten curriculum is to prepare students for entering the first grade. The curriculum includes, but is not limited to English and language arts, mathematics, Chinese, social studies, science, physical education, arts + crafts, music, performing arts, and drama, and computer studies.
